BIHAR STET Normalization Kya Hai?

 

Bihar STET में Normalization ek प्रक्रिया है jiska use exam ke result nikalne me kiya jaata hai, jab exam multiple shifts me conduct hota hai. Har shift ka paper alag–alag difficulty level ka ho sakta hai (kisi shift ka paper comparatively easy, to kisi shift ka tough).

👉 Normalization ka purpose
Ye ensure karna ki har candidate ko fair marks mile, chahe uska exam easy shift me hua ho ya tough shift me. Isse sabhi students ek common scale par compare kiye ja sakte hain.


Normalization kaise kaam karta hai?

  1. Raw Marks: Candidate ke actual marks jo usne apne shift ke paper me score kiye.

  2. Shift-wise Average & Standard Deviation: Har shift ke students ke marks ka average aur variation nikala jaata hai.

  3. Overall Average & Standard Deviation: Puri exam ke sabhi shifts ka combined average aur variation nikala jaata hai.

  4. Normalization Formula (UGC, SSC, Railway, aur ab STET me bhi same tarah se use hota hai):

जहाँ,

  • XijX_{ij} = Candidate ke raw marks

  • MtM_{t} = Us shift ka average marks

  • StS_{t} = Us shift ka standard deviation

  • MqM_{q} = Sabhi shifts ka overall average marks

  • SqS_{q} = Sabhi shifts ka standard deviation


Example samajhiye

  • Shift 1 ka paper tough tha (average 55/100)

  • Shift 2 ka paper easy tha (average 70/100)

  • Dono shifts ka overall average = 62.5

Ab agar kisi student ne Shift 1 me 60 marks laaye aur kisi ne Shift 2 me 60 marks laaye,
👉 To normalization ke baad Shift 1 wala candidate zyada score karega, kyunki usne tough paper me 60 score kiya.

  • STET 2025 me exam multiple shifts me hoga.

  • Normalization ke through final merit banegi.

  • Candidate ka selection normalized score par depend karega, raw score par nahi.
